-That I have remained healthy and safe, not even a funny tummy!
-That I have such a loving family to live with, for their patience.
-That I am surrounded by many patient friends who help me in speaking Spanish and that they don’t hold my lack of Spanish against me.
-That I am in such a wonderful and varied country-I still can’t quite believe I am in Peru!
-That I can absorb all the new Spanish that I am learning and that I have the confidence to practice speaking it.
– That relationships continue to be built here and that friendships would really be formed.
– I would enjoy the rest of my time in Arequipa and use my time wisely.
– That God would be preparing me for moving to Ica and all that this next step holds.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PRAYING- I really couldn’t do this in my strength
After some language training to improve my Spanish I will be taking up the role of Short Term Coordiantor (STC) for Peru. The STC coordinates the Latin Link Step (teams) and Stride (people) programmes, placing them in projects lasting from a few weeks to two years. Based in Arequipa, I will be getting involved in a local church and my local community.
