Dear Friends, As I write this I am wearing two jumpers and using a hot bottle to stay warm! I was warned winter in Lima would be cold, but I still wasn’t prepared for feeling this cold! At A Rocha Peru we are settling into our new office space. It is quite large compared to […]

1 August 2012

I honestly cannot believe how quickly this month has gone.  It’s been a bit action packed at times, but I’ve had fun. I started off this month helping two STEP teams with orientation upon their arrival in Peru to work with local churches.  I also debriefed one of the teams at the end of their […]

On the 14th February I celebrated my one-year anniversary in Peru. In some ways it feels like I am still new here and yet so much has happened that I feel like I have been here longer. Latin Link Peru always has their annual conference in February. It was great to meet up with friends […]

New Year, New City, New Challenges

11 February 2012

If leaving the familiarity of Ica behind and leaving all the friends I have made was hard, then moving to Lima has been tougher.  The capital city is home to 8 million residents, the roads have 4 lanes, and the buses are packed. The long daily […]
